What a day for....

Vanuit het thema 'stilstaand reizen' ben ik dagdromers gaan fotograferen. De mensen -op straat- die zich op één plek bevinden en met hun gedachten zichtbaar heel ergens anders zijn. Dus mensen die bij wijze van heel de wereld in hun gedachten verkennen terwijl ze feitelijk niet bewegen. STILSTAAND REIZEN DUS. Als men staart kijk je wel maar zie je eigenlijk niets. Dit vormt een heel onscherp surrealistisch dromerig beeld.
From the theme 'traveling without moving' I started taking pictures of daydreamers. People -in the streets- who are in one place but their thoughts are clearly on a completely different location.These are people who travel the world in their minds but in fact don't move at all. SO, THEY'RE TRAVELING WITHOUT MOVING. When you stare you look but actually don't see anything. This creates a very unsharp, surrealistic dreamy image.
